GATSBY pages 23-33

Some notes and observations:

  • tom's mistress is mrs. wilson (she is a married woman)
  • transcendent- go above and beyond
  • tom and myrtle both don't like their spouse
  • myrtle's sis is tom's mistress
  • mr. wilson is basically bullied by mrs. wilson and tom
  • the eye are a huge focus here
