CUE THEME MUSIC

The central message of The Great Gatsby was about the possibility of no matter how much you pursue something it just doesn't turn out the way you wanted it to. 

 The reasons are:


  • Gatsby never ended up with Daisy no matter how much he tried
  • Daisy never found happiness in love with Tom
  • No matter how much people try money can't satisfy anyone
